Firsts are usually nerve wrecking but at the same time exciting; this was my first autumn and my first hike up a mountain. And i would say, i would highly recommend hiking up a mountain in autumn. The temperature is just perfect.

I started the hike up the mountain in the late afternoon. It didn’t cross my mind if i would have time to get back down while the sun was still up or if there would be any form of public transportation available when i do reach the bottom. and yet i just went on ahead. But looking back, i had no regrets because i caught the most amazing sunset, in autumn on a mountain. The sights, sounds and cool breeze, amazing. God is great.

This is a reflection of most of our firsts. We go in not knowing what to expect, or often forgetting to plan. But after it all, looking back, it was always worth it, taking that first step. It all made us who we are today.
